My youngest daughter (she has her back to you in the photo) had netball this afternoon. You can’t tell by looking at the photo how cold it was. The wind was like ice and it was only around 9 degrees although it felt colder because of the wind. I felt sorry for the girls having to wear their netball dresses.
Well, when exercising, it is not as bad as when looking. I started jogging this winter. I perform much better on cold temperatures. It felt easier to jog at -8 or even -10 than last week, for instance, at +30.
How did the girls feel about it? What did your daughter say?

I can't imagine playing in that cold but @monikozi is right they were probably warmer than those of you just watching! It is a wonderful capture of them.
I used to feel the same about my sons playing in the colder weather for soccer. They said they didn't feel the cold once they started running. But their uniforms had sleeves! Good sports shot!
