We spent the afternoon in the garden. It has been a beautiful day and we were making the most of it. Tomorrow the rain is due to set in for the next six days.
My husband trimmed the box hedges and I weeded and worked on the garden bed on the other side of the driveway. I planted more dahlias and then I scattered red poppy seeds through the garden beds. Hopefully the rain will give them a good drink and they will settle in.
Everything looks so lush, especially in this wonderful night! It is awesome to see things as they are beginning to grow while here we are seeing things as they are beginning to die out.
