I am on the final countdown. Only two more days until I finish my job and I cannot wait. I am going to feel such a sense of relief when I drive out of that carpark on Wednesday evening.
I am going to try really hard to catch up with your photos this month. Thanks for your continued support over the past few months, especially as I have had very little time to comment myself.
@grammyn - Hi Katy. I resigned from my current position two months ago and my original plan was to take a few months off and spend time on myself and the family. Paige is really unwell at the moment and a lot of my time is spent with her. Having said that all good plans change. I was headhunted a couple of weeks ago, it feels weird saying that, and was asked to interview for a position without actually applying for it. I was offered the position the next day and will be starting my new role as Director of Marketing and Events on 24 July. I am excited and nervous at the same time as I have been with my current company for one month short of 8 years. This position is also full time and that will be hard to get used to again, I currently don't work on a Friday. How are you going with your studies? x
@nicolecampbell how fulfilling to know that somebody wanted you to work for them without you even applying! I know you will be doing very well with this new job. Since marketing is a class I am taking right now I’m very impressed with your new role! Sorry to hear about Paige and good luck with your new position
@grammyn - thank you. Let me know if I can help with your studies in any way. Here is my email address again in case you don’t have it anymore - nlstone@yahoo.com - I would be happy to proof work or be a sounding board for you x
@nicolecampbell What a generous offer Nicole! I only have five weeks left in the class and it is actually one I’m doing better in than the other two right at the moment. I will most definitely be in touch if I reach a stumbling block! Thank you so much
