Slowly changing

Autumn has been very slow to arrive because the temperatures still feel like we are in the middle of summer. The leaves are slowly starting to change and it is so nice to see the different colours emerging.

Ollie and I went for a walk again this morning. He had a great sniff and stop and I had another frustrating walk. We did walk over 6,000 steps which was good. I have signed up the Prime Minister's One Million Step program. It started on 25 March and we until mid August to walk 1,000,000 steps. It is a great idea, I just don't like the app because it doesn't always record steps properly. I have another app on my phone called Steps and that works much better.

Today I am taking the girls and my mum to the movies to see The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society. I can't wait to see it, I read the book a few years ago and loved it. If you haven't read the book I would highly recommend it.
Just the beginning of fall, always a lovely time. A million steps?! Oh my. Only 5 months. That’s 200,000 steps a month.....that sounds like a lot!

@louannwarren - it is a lot but just what I need. I bought a new pair of runners/walkers when I took the girls to the movies today. I think I am getting very serious about this.

A friend and I are going to see The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society tomorrow afternoon. I am looking forward to it too. I haven't read the book. You will have to tell me if the book differs from the movie.

@onewing - I hope you like it, we thoroughly enjoyed it. Today I took the girls and my mum to the Cartier exhibition at the NGA, it was very impressive
