Day 28 by nicoleterheide

Day 28

Was watching the birds at the feeder today. They were hard to photograph though, since everytime I grabbed my camera they flew away. But after sitting there for over half an hour some of them got used to me and stayed eating while I took some pictures. I really like the look this one was giving me ;) Taken with my "coffee" lens. Still seems to be working fine :)
Nice pic!

Well captured - this is a really lovely shot!

Glad the lens works and love the straight on capture. Love the colours on the bird, they pop...lovely capture!
March 11th, 2016
Great shot- well done for having so much patience!
March 11th, 2016
Your patience paid off! I read on 365 a strategy for this, though I've never tried it. Set the camera up to capture the bird feeder, then go inside by a window and watch with the remote and snap away.

March 12th, 2016
Cute little fellow! So glad the lens continues to function as if nothing happened!
March 12th, 2016
So good your lens has recovered -- and this shot shows that your patience really paid off.
March 12th, 2016
This bird has a very angry face, even with so much food around.
March 12th, 2016
When I take my bird photos I have to go out and sit still for about the same time. It only takes one bird to get brave and then they all come in. He is certainly looking at you and love the look!! FAV!
March 12th, 2016
he does look a bit perturbed however if you look past those black lines across his eyes and just look at those eyes I think you can see he is posing for you!
March 12th, 2016
Lovely shot! I think he's still keeping a careful eye on you though!
Glad your coffee lens is behaving :)
March 12th, 2016
@cejaanderson That is a great idea! Have to try that sometimes. This was actually taken from inside my house through the window. Since it was a bit to chily to be sitting outside for to long ;)
March 12th, 2016
@eyesmile I spilled coffee over my lens last week, so it had been sitting in rice for a few days. This was the second day using the lens again and it still seems to be working fine :)
