Here is my first shot from my trip to Lisbon. This was taken on day 1. It is taken in the "Ruinas do Carmo". It's a ruin of a convent that was destroyed by the earthquake in 1755. It now also houses a museum with archeological items which are placed in the convent. The arches are still standing, giving this a fabulous look against the blue sky we had on our first day.
To take this shot I layed on my back on the floor with my camera pointing upwards. The best way to assure that I got the shot from the right angle. People probably looked at me funny, but I didn't care. Had to get that shot ;)
Thumbs up...and a fave...for doing what it takes to get the picture! It's a beauty! AND, my attitude is that in a half hour, neither you nor those passers-by will recognize one another...and you have your shot!
