This is the old mill house in our village, it sits on the River Coln which feeds into the River Thames in Lechlade a few miles away. The water still runs under part of the house to where the water wheel would have been, but since the property is private I have no idea if there is still a wheel that actually works. There is a plaque on the front of the building stating that the mill was mentioned in the Doomsday book c1085, so it is a really old building!
