The Wallace Monument in the Morning Mist by nodrognai

The Wallace Monument in the Morning Mist

This impressive monument was opened in 1869 to commemorate the life of Sir William Wallace who famously led a small Scottish force to rout the English at the Battle of Stirling Bridge in 1297.
His sword which struck fear in his foes is kept within the building
nice composition and moody weather shot!

Incredible shot! What a very inspiring monument to see. The fact that you had misty weather for this shot was even more perfect. I learned about William Wallace and his fight for Scotland. It’s so great that you are able to see this commemoration to him. Fav
