This lovely lady comes weekly to feed the pigeons behind the Eaton Centre... she feeds them some kind of grain - she brings bread too, but they don't like it as much... These pigeons clearly trust her! Not only do they flock around her and eat happily out of her hand, they weren't in the least bit concerned when I approached to take pictures... (Although I didn't get her name, I did ask if it was ok to take pictures and to post them on the internet, and she said yes - does she count as a "stranger"?)
I'm afraid I'm behind in commenting again... I've been stumbling thru the last few days with a nasty headache... thank you for all your lovely comments on my photos from a couple days ago... I still have to edit yesterday's shots which were taken in RAW... I ended up ditching my first attempt at getting one ready to post because I felt I'd kind of gone overboard with processing and I need to go back at it again...
i took today's shots "cooked" in an effort to simplify my life :)
@humphreyhippo i know... i kind of shudder at those pigeons on her hands... but she was such a sweet lovely lady... she told me about visiting family in Arizona who fed ducks and how this gave her the idea to come out and feed the pigoens :)
ewww......pigeons kind of scare me, but this lady obviously loves them! she has such a nice smile and i like that you caught her looking at the bird. well done. i've been doing RAW too. i feel like the color and definition is way better in RAW.
Yes I think she counts as a stranger.
Pretty sure that headaches come from using color bwahaha XD
