window for dummies

i have to confess that i didn't actually notice the dummies until i looked at this on the computer... ;p

processed from RAW in LR5, converted to b&w in nik silver efex using the push process (+3) preset, blue filter and coffee toner... plus the various tweaks playing with sliders and control points...
beautiful textures

interesting shot and the dummies are a nice find :)

Love it when you find something in the photo you didn't see when taking it. I think it is a bit mean that the dummies have had their heads though. They might like to look out at the view.

I love this.. those deep moody tones are lush x

I love the dark tones and texture, as well as dummies glimpsed in the window. It's amazing the things you see after you take the picture.

OMG! This shot is so great and the title was icing on the cake! haha! I like to peek in all the windows ...not just the dummy ones. Fav!

Oh, so funny! The shot itself is a brilliant composition -- the textures, grittiness especially. Then, the bonus of those funny little figures. And your title is a great play on the series of books.

Cool shot, great textures & love the dummies :)

Love this shot. What is EOTB challenge?
July 1st, 2013
@abhijit tx! EOTB is "eye of the behder". Basically taking a picture of something the non-photography world wouldn't look twice at and making it look purty :)

The dummies are wonderful.
July 2nd, 2013
Ha! A window full of bosoms! They certainly add a punch!

Such a cool composition without the dummies and then finding the awesome bonus and a truly witty double pun! Kudos - you rock!!!
