just to clear a couple things up from my paperclip shot from yesterday:
1 - the events in question happened 25 years ago - not sure that approach to a job interview would happen today
2 - it really did make a certain amount of sadistic sense at the time
3 - no - it wasn't a creative type of job... in fact, i doubt anyone with any sort of artistic temperament would have been interested or successful
I wrote some interview questions nearly 20 years ago, and discovered by accident that one of the questions had later been used as a standard hypothetical question in many other interviews. The point of question was to determine whether candidate could prioritise in emergency by being able to buck authority. Many people tend to think hierarchically. Sometimes not everything is as it seems
I love this shot! an instant fav. I own a photograph by a fairly well known photographer from the 50's, it is a young girl (I can tell by the shoes) who is running thru the rain in Paris, after dark. I bought it as soon as I saw it. This reminds me so much of it.
I'm trying to catch up now I'm home from uni and really only have time to comment on one photo from each of you so this is the one of yours I like the best from the ones I have missed...and this one's a fav xx
I did not pick this as yours!! I saw it on the home page and it jumped out at me. I went wow, I love that. So you get a fav. I just can't believe I didn't realise it was yours. lol
@lubybee tx :) and no - i didn't get wet at all... it's a fountain coming out of the ground in the square near my office... people walk around them and thru them... kids play in them... always plenty of activity to watch - and lots of dry areas to watch from :)
