this is for the mad minute word challenge... today's word is "vexillology" which does not mean the study of annoyances as one might think, but rather the study of flags... i expect i have this wrong - but the first thing that came to mind was heralds, standards and colours... and once my mind got stuck on that, it wouldn't come unstuck...
at any rate, i had to look up the description of the attitude of the dragon, so whether i have engaged in vexillology or heraldry or some other "ology", i have nonetheless learned something new :)

Fav for sheer fabulousness and heraldry is, while a study in it's own right, also a sub category of "vexillology" so this is a winner on multiple levels! Just an aside - my spell checker wants to change "vexillology" to "exobiology" Lol - random weirdness.
