i've been working on a chess shot (which hasn't come together yet) and this was meant to be a component of it... posting this because, altho' it's not the dark knight, and not what i was aiming for, i still kinda like it...
thank you all for your kind words on my recent shots... it's really nice to have the encouragement... i've been feeling rather at sea lately... i think it's the back-to-school frenzy, combined with kid sports starting up, combined with work going from "laid back" to "zoom"...
I love the way you've worked with the light on this. There is a perfect balance between the light and dark. And now I'm really looking forward to seeing what you're working towards!
The lighting in this is especially wonderful, and the overall composition works really well. And I relate to the laid back to zoom frustration! It really hasn't shown at all in your photos which remain inspiring.
