it's been a rather frustrating day... i've been meaning to try a mulitplicity shot for a while now, but finally decided to give it a go when i couldn't get that phrase out of my head today ;p
Great clone job, love how the "guardian angel" has such a calming expression :) There's a story to this shot, I like that a lot - often the clone shots are more of a gimmick. I think I wouldn't even notice the cloning, if you had changed your shirt between the shots. Faving.
Fantastic! Fav! You've captured exactly how I'm feeling at the moment. Now all I want is to find out how to do the same :) Hang in there, girl. It does get better!!
Wow!!! What a moving composition. I love the effect of the shadowed wings on the subject on the stool overlooking the subject in turmoil. Not sure this was intentional but it got my attention.
@jav0930 it's pretty easy but you need processing software... i use layers and masks in PSE... i think you can make it work in gimp too... there are youtube videos that will explain how to do this...
@momsta tx! the transluscent look is likely a combined effect of reducing clarity in LR, a smidgeon of overexposure and then whatever setting i used in topaz restyle...
@cathrinemitch tx Catherine... the wings were totally accidental shadows and if i'd had the energy i would have probably tried to get rid of them ;p
It seems so sad- that exhaustion you feel after a rough day. I hope things pick up tomorrow. In the meantime, it's so well done and I like the high key effect too. It adds to the stress!
This is done with grace. Although I have to admit I get creeped out by masks. Fav notwithstanding! ;^)
