an idea i had... not sure it came out quite as i would have liked, but it is something i may work on some more so any constructive input would be most welcome
eeek, lizard. hmmm..must be face. nice jars. nice bottles. pretty, neat and tidy, must be northy. ah, yes. clicked the photo to comment and whoa! a hand! where'd that come from? that's friggin' big rock you got there, madame. that a pearl or diamond?
I like the shot and all that is going on, but that also means I wasn't sure what the focal point would be. Then, I see the hand and, eek! It's a totally different shot. So interesting and fun. The faucet draws my eye to the hand, but also I find to be a bit distracting. I also wonder if there's a way to do the lighting so the fingers pop a little more -- I almost missed them as they blended into the background lighting initially.
Big sink! Its a a double, so you need a hand in each maybe? Then you could add a face at the window, some water coming out of the tap.. not sure how you communicate the scream…!
I agree with @taffy about nearly missing the hand and finding the tap a little distracting. I do think you need to do something to make the fingers stand out a little more. Maybe if the part of the sink behind the hand was darker .....
Love the idea! I saw the fingers immediately - as well as the ring. A wonderful depiction of the chores of washing up. Maybe a shallower dof with more of the shelf and bottles blurry?
Hehehehe love this concept :) I think it's cool that the hand has to be found rather than it slaps you in the face straight away. I also like that there is a lot to look at, hides the hand in plain sight.... the lizard is maybe a bit too eye-catching though, so you could try how this looks without it... ? The tap is not distracting at all to me.
I think it's great. Very creative. I was wondering how you got your whole body in to then get your hand up before thinking - "I guess she's done a bit of an edit" :)
