another shot from my Saturday afternoon outing to get an industrial shot... this is more or less "next door" to the shot posted Saturday... the GO train yard in Etobicoke... although, actually, the tracks might belong to VIA, i'm not quite sure...
GO is the inter-regional commuter train that runs between Toronto and the cities that more or less make up the "Greater Toronto Area"...
VIA rail is the national passenger rail network...
to be distinguished from the TTC (Toronto Transit Commission) that runs the subways and the UP (Union / Pearson express train) :)
The tracks leads the eye to infinity; the various carriages on the side also lead the eye in a similar direction. The absence of humans and clouds plus its presentation in B+W gives a somber feel. Nice one!
