experimenting with stop motion

OMG! this was a stupid amount of work - compounded by the fact that i'd (yet again) forgotten my youtube password... not to mention the fact that standard software doesn't seem to allow fast enough fps for a stop motion vid and the first thing i downloaded from the net (a) didn't work and (b) f@#%cked up my safari settings... eventually went with something from the app store which worked relatively well, but didn't have the patience to figure out how to add music...

there are a bunch of things i would do differently next time... assuming there is a next time... ;p

this is for my get pushed challenge set by @joysabin to show the opposite of what is expected, maybe a motion shot or a gif... i never managed to figure out how to do a gif, so thought i'd try stop motion :)
@joysabin - no clue if this is what you had in mind... but it was a fun exercise regardless! i have a couple other ideas which i hope i have the time and energy to try later this week :)

A very cool exercise, of which (having absolutely no video experience whatsoever and am afraid of moving things, especially TV) I am totally in awe. It does look like a lot of work, honestly, but it is so great to see the little knight driving around. :)

Plus... I missed the "365" of the dice on the first go-around. Delightful.

Absolutely delightful! It may have been a lot of work and frustration - but it was worth it in my mind!
A FAB FAV!
I would FAV it again if I could!

You are a Photographic Goddess! Super Crazy Creative! The subtle 365 is a unexpected bonus.
To be honest my first thought about unexpected was due to thinking in B&W terms- opposites. After that my mind went just a tad farther into weirdness and landed on the challenge idea. Fantastic - Challenge met with flying colors!!!!!!

I meant to say I loved how he stopped and considered that last dice, as if calculating how to move it. Totally missed the 365 until I read the comments above. Now I get it!!!

Animation stop motion is a thief of time, but what fun. At an animation workshop I went to they reckoned 2-3secs a day was good going! Great result, well worth your determination.
