the drear morning light looked rather nice over the chair...

this is for the Dogwood challenge... this week's instructions were:

"Imagine that it is the last frame on a roll of film, and you have to nail it. For this challenge only take one shot. No deleting, no 2nd shot. The honor system is in play."

i got a bit lazy and used high ISO instead of dragging out the tripod, but in my defence, i hadn't had my morning anything yet ;p regardless... this was the only shot i took of this scene (or anything else so far this morning)... a bit random and mundane, but hey, the light was nice!
great light and shadows, the uneven blinds and a peek outside add a lot of interest

Great answer to this most difficult challenge. I like the simplicity and subdued light a great deal.

Fabulous!

It is nice light.
I don't think I'm physically capable of taking just one shot. Unless it's really cold.

@humphreyhippo inoright? i really didn't like this challenge... i "get" it... but... why????

@northy Quite. I get the 'stop and think' approach it's trying to instil, but the last time I recall only taking one shot I was being slammed by horizontal rain in Australia. I could barely open the car door against the wind. ;)

That is most definitely nice light!
