take off, eh!

so - this half and half thing is an interesting exercise... i'm seeing them everywhere... the challenge, i find, is to figure out what makes for an interesting image... i expect there will be lots of fails, not to mention a fair few abstract shots should i actually manage to stick this out...

Oooh! A striking image. The one thing that troubles me about Half and Half is that it's not Two-Thirds and One-Third....but I'm old fashioned like that! I'll also choose to believe that it was done in camera! :-)

@deborah63 @yrhenwr tx :). Not photoshopped... but in interests of full disclosure I should tell you the image is rotated 90 degrees... it was just dumb luck... I was shooting the bird sitting on a wall and it took off on me...
