for get pushed this week, @aecasey challenged me to try a vortograph... a vortograph is accomplished by shooting thru a set of mirrors strategically positioned around the lens... i do have some small mirrors, but they don't fit together in the way they need to... i stopped in at a beauty supply store today, and they were all out... i will try a craft store on the weekend, but in the meantime, i thought i would experiment with tinfoil... i covered a piece of cardboard with tinfoil and hooked it on to my lens and shot thru it... with this result... decidedly *not* a vortograph, but i kinda liked the effect anyway... i may well experiment further with this :)
@aecasey - *not* a vortograph, but tagging it anyway because i was experimenting trying to figure out ways to macgiver one without the proper equipment :)

@graemestevens thank you... but do I have to guess? You’re secretly a Cher fan?

A sort 'o vorto? Works for me. Love to see the same subject, POV and lighting with proper mirrors.

fantastic capture and very creative... the middle looks like a heart...

OK, so it took me a minute to figure this one out. Fav for creativity. :-)

PS… Still trying to recover from the site of Cher singing with the glitter veil over her face.

Sight. Oops.

@northy Good lord no...it's because of the tinfoil. It keeps the government out of my head. ;)

Made me stop and think.

This is the first time I have heard of a Vortograph. Interesting concept. I think your use of foil has a unique effect of its own. Great setup for using the foil.
