lensbaby on the bridge by northy

lensbaby on the bridge

from yesterday... as i was busy this evening and had no time to play... focus is atrocious as always, but i still kind of liked this one...

incidentally, for a few minutes it just got silly on the bridge with so many people out with their cameras and stepping all over one another to get "the shot"... not clue what "the shot" was... it looked pretty much the way it always does... but whatevs ;p

I like this a great deal, maybe its the rule of 3'rds but it is a strong image.

So cool,... I love this kind lensbaby focus on your pics. I try the lb outside sometimes, but never achieve such great pictures.

Great story :) I like the blur but don't know if I could handle a lensbaby... looks pretty tricky to me.

This LB shot does really work well! The blur is marvelous.

Wonder how you'd feel if this is what you got first time out with the E-M5ii and 12-40.. ?

Looks good to me. :)
I miss wandering around town seeing how many people I could get to look at random objects after I'd stop taking shots.

I like it.

Lensbaby love xx Love the shot - all about the blur x

really cool shot! love the blurry motion in the figures and how your eye is drawn to the lady near the bridge. works really well

I love the atrocious focus.

Bit by bit...I lose consciousness.

@yrhenwr well - i don't think it's a fair comparison... i do know how to use a standard lens and how to control the focus... so if the 12-40 were behaving like this i'd be back to the camera store pretty darned fast :)

I love this ... it is so intriguing!

@northy Of course you would as would all of us... so, to be less oblique, why spend money on a lens that not only distorts, but does so in unpredictable ways? I'm missing something... you are very creative... doesn't that require intent and control?
January 11th, 2018
@yrhenwr indeed it does... and the theory is that the lensbaby can be controlled... but i'm not very patient and i am very short on time - so i am, proverbially speaking, trying to run before learning how to walk... needless it say, it is not going well!
