death and the maiden

for get pushed this week @aecasey gave me a most fascinating challenge...

in short, i was to write down 10 nouns, 10 verbs and 10 adjectives, and then randomly (blindly) pull two words from each group... and use those six words as inspiration for a photo...

my six words were: pawn, card, vanish, clean, dark and confusing..

this is an in-camera multiple exposure... took two shots with the pawn in place and a third without the pawn to create the ghostly (vanish) effect... mirrors are there for confusion... the dark is relatively self-explanatory... clean was a bit tricky, but i did do some tidying of dust spots ;p

@aecasey - whaddaya think? this was tricky - 6 things is A LOT!!! and i didn't cheat (other than the fact that i of course had free reign to come up with the 30 words in the first place :D)

I really like this.
I like how the mirrors and multiple exposure - they do make you study to see what's what.

Brilliant as always. I think it was the same process C.S. Lewis used to write "The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe"...
