we left Toronto yesterday for Geneva... getting here was a bit of an adventure... our flight from Toronto to Montreal was delayed due to a "weather event"... in Montreal we had to deplane and do a circuit around the airport to get to the gate to get back on the same plane (no clue why - one of those imponderable questions)... anyhoo... there were further weather-related delays in Montreal and it got dark while we were waiting... and i kinda liked how the reflection of the inside part of the terminal melded with the plan...
now in Geneva for a couple of days before starting a walking/hiking trip with an organized group... as we arrived too early for check-in, we dropped our luggage at reception and went off to find coffee (Starbucks - why we come halfway round the world to drink coffee at starbucks is a mystery to me)... and then for a walk... got back to the hotel and realized it was the wrong hotel (it's a chain, they have several locations within a small area)... got to the right hotel and they suggested we'd be better off at yet another hotel... finally got to the hotel and into the room - only to find that the bathroom door was broken... they moved us to another room and it's all sorted now 😎
No idea what it is but its a very good image! I'm with you on the Starbucks thing! Why do they have to invade Europe which is able to do coffee so very well!
