space... the final frontier

the subway station was pretty empty at stupid o'clock this morning... sadly, this was because everyone had been waiting at the previous stop meaning no seat for me... since sitting is supposedly bad for you i suppose one could say i lucked out 🙃

(and yes - i know the focus is atrocious... in my defence... did you really want to see the garbage bins at the end of the hallway???? 🤣)

I think the image is tremendous. As for the focus, I thought it was a conscious decision to make the photo more mysterious. Totally works.

the lack of focus increases the sense of otherness and really works well for a blurry eyed early morning shot when no one is around. It conveys exactly that. It is like you shouldn't be there.
