so... hmmm.... this is a possible entry for 52F this week where the prompt is "red"... i like the conceptl, but there are any number of things about this that bother me and i may have to take another run at it - in a different direction...
in this case the red is achieved by putting the netting from a red-ish shower scrunchy over the lens.. i was using an nd filter because i needed a wide f-stop to avoid the netting details becoming distracting, but there was too much light for a long exposure to allow for movement... i played with the colour hue in LR because the sponge was magenta (??) than red (or at any rate, it seems a bit pinkish), and i desaturated all the other colours... and somehow ended up with wierdness around some edges which bug me... anyhoo, i might try again using the approach i used back in february and adding the red in photoshop
