It's a Jar

For the mundane theme (in case you're wondering if i've gone bananas ;p)

I have come to a couple conclusions:

1. my house is crooked and
2. i need one of those thingamadoohickies that you can stick in the hotshoe of your camera to see whether you're shooting on the level (altho' i 'xpect this won't help me with angles)

I've always wondered about the level in your hotshoe. How are you supposed to look at it and through the viewfinder at the same time?! Nice jar, by the way.

@archaeofrog tx! mostly i think it would be useful when you're shooting from a tripod... wouldn't have helped this shot... i had the camera sitting on the floor right up against the stairs...

@masosy tx Kate... i use the level on my tripod but it doesn't do me huge amounts of good... my tripod might be level, but i might still have my camera tilted even tho' it's attached to the tripod because i can tilt the ballhead thingy up and town :)
