lost in spoonhenge

sooooo... Mary (@m9f9l) gave me the challenge of translucent this week and it occurred to me to wonder whether this would work and be considered as "translucent"

translucent is defined as "permitting light to pass through but diffusing it so that persons, objects, etc., on the opposite side are not clearly visible"

so this is a piece of paper... the spoons and chess piece are behind it, with a light behind them... what you are seeing, i think, is the shadows, rather than the objects themselves... so the light is coming thru - except where the objects are blocking the light...

ok - i'm explaining that badly, and i haven't a clue if it counts as translucent, but i had fun playing with the spoons and playdoh and that's what counts, right? ;p
@m9f9l one more for my translucent challenge... not sure if this quite counts, but it was fun experimenting... tx so much for the push!

Woah! I saw this and had to say out loud "this is so awesome!" And it all counts! Is the chess piece really behind the paper? I thought it was in front. What a great idea, and the execution is superb. And I love the title!! Fav!!!

@m9f9l tx Mary :) yes, the chess piece is behind the paper, but it's right up touching the paper... the spoons are at various distances behind the knight...
