So I switched my camera to 'monochrome' and needed a guinea pig to practice on and because my girl was still in school, what better guinea pig to stand in than a guinea pig himself.
I was surprised when imported my pictures into light room it switched them back to colour. What's up with that?
@novab I'm not sure, as I have a different camera. But RAW means, that all in camera "processing" is not executed in that certain file. Using a monochrom "ajustment" is in-camera-processing and this normally is not applicated on a RAW image. But probably you can set RAW & jpeg, if you really want to have a monochrome output image, and so you do not loose the original. A lot of people want to have a RAW file, and just want to see on the display what monochrome would look like. Hope this helps, I'm not really good expaining technical things in english.
Who else but Nova just passed by and shared her Guinea Pig! I love your play on words as well!! I had some as pets when I was young, and I adore their little faces! Merry is too too cute!
Nice capture of your pet. For this theme, I've been shooting in RAW and JPEG. I can set the style for the jpeg to B&W to see what it might look like but Raw's always come out in color.
@mona65 Thank you M for the explanation, and you did great with translation. I did shoot in raw and will try today to capture both raw and jpeg and see what happens when I export to my compture. :)
Thank you so much for your kind words and generous favs. It was such a thrill to see Merry on the TP & PP with so many other amazing images. :)
