Piggy poser

I am enjoying my online photo classes and this image represents my first attempt at using an off camera flash. He looks so much better in colour, but can't post that one because I'm participating in the flashofred2018 month. But he was a patient piggy and I learned so much about my flash that I never knew before!

I showed my daughter this and she screamed.. "AWWWWWWWWWWW" she thought this was so cute! So do I and you get a fav as I know how hard it is to get a photo of my daughters piggies! Your little piggy seems to be smiling too!

Awww so cute and it looks awesome in black and white Nova! I have a flash, but I don't use it often enough so it takes forever to remember how to use it!

So-beyond adorable, I had Ken get up to come over and look over my shoulder! I don't use a flash because I seldom like it blowing out the subject, and I always admire the better side light like this! Not that I'll ever find the time to spend really studing how to use my equipment, but with Kathy @radiogirl , I'm curious to know what class your're taking. (I signed up for a course of study over a year ago...and paid to download it...but do you think I've actually used it yet???)

@radiogirl @Weezilou Thanks Kathy and Louise. :) I'm taking an online course. '31 days to become a better photographer' at Digital Photography School. The best part is I can go at my own speed as people have started at different times. I hope to finish within 3 months and I've learned so much already about my camera that I ignored before.

@novab I checked out the link, the course sounds interesting but the doors are closed and you have to go on a waiting list!
Do you know if it is still $49.00 and is that Canadian price?

@radiogirl The price was in US$ and I know originally they offered it for a specific period of time. I believe the wait list is for the next offering of this course. I would guess it would probably be offered after 3 months, as I have access to the instructor for 3 month period. I feel as if I'll already got my $ worth and I'm only at day 12. I hope this info helped Kathy. :)
