As you can see we received more snow, but I don't think it will last long, which will be good for the flowers.
My course lesson was to go to a local landmark and capture the decisive moment. I think this image should work, but will share with you a more decisive moment that did not get captured. I had to position myself on the side of this hill to shoot this image and walked over/into a ditch which was hidden and filled in with snow and was only a foot deep (not too bad). But when I retuned to the clear road, I took a more direct route and walked towards the hidden ditch taking one slow step at a time. I was two steps away from the sidewalk and thinking it all was good.... then fell into a three foot ditch full of snow. Lucky for me a gentleman was walking by and saw the whole thing happen. He asked if I was okay (which I was) and if I needed help (which I did). He offered a hand to pull me out and up. Which I'm sure was so much more graceful than me falling in. :D
This is beautiful and I love that there are people in it. Maybe this is your last snow of the season! So glad you didn't get hurt taking this photo and that your camera was safe too!
Oups, so glad you did not hurt yourself. Wonderful subject for your course lesson, and so well executed. Love your composition and how happy the blue sky looks.
What a lovely composition and love the blue sky against the white snow!
