Juvenile bird

The northern flickers are parents to this little guy and from what I can see from my deck, they only have one youngster. But he is very vocal when he wants to eat and calls to his parents to bring the grub quickly. He likes to pop his head out of the tree to see who is close by and reminds me of a cuckoo clock.
