If you have been following my project, you may have noticed that I don't have many pictures of me. But that's probably normal for us photographers, who feel more comfortable behind the camera than in front of it.
This represents so many things for me that are outside of my "box" but I've got to keep trying new things. So...... here I am!
Wow Nova, this is sooooo cool and beautiful. An amazing picture! Very elegant and so nicely done. I tried something similar the other day, and and I failed miserably. So I know how hard this is. Fav!
Wonderful low key self-portrait, Nova! Most of us who choose other subjects than ourselves know how hard it is to be in front of the camera and also control all the settings, so extra FAV for this! And, thanks for the Follow....you have some wonderful photos in your album....it is a pleasure to Follow you back!
I blush when reading your fabulous responses to my photo of me. Thank you so much for taking the time to stop by and share your words and favs.
I found this to be very easy and used so few things to accomplish the look and light. I had 2 stools, a teddybear (to focus on) a tripod for my camera (& used the timer), a small portable LED light and a darkroom.
I'll have to try this again with other objects.
@novab Yes I do!
I am convinced that you can keep up completely with everyone else. You do not need to hide,.... a beautiful woman, beautifully photographed. TP and PP proofed it. Go for it! (And it's not only my, John has the same opinion.
How *beautiful*!! Seems funny that, though I know you and know your face, you look so much like a best friend from college here in this picture! She had beautiful, big eyes, and yours seem so here as well! Just lovely!
Congrats on PP
