As I sit in my living room, I can see a glimpse of the sun rising in the morning sky. I think to myself, it won't be anything special and continue to check out the pictures on 365. Then the colours start to change and I panic!!! (My house is surrounded by trees and I can't see much of anything.) I grab my camera, slip on my sneakers, struggle into a jacket and start running down the road still in my pjs. I know exactly where I am going and when I stopped this is what I see. I'm so glad I decided to step outside. :)
I only adjusted the white balance on this shot all other colours are as amazing as they look here.
Best viewed on black if you have the time. Have a great day!
I did have the time to view on black , well worth it. This is the sun rising, wow Like my neighbours your are probably used to seeing you dash about , camera in hand....fav
i see a glimpse of beautiful sunrise from my kitchen window and there's a large signage on a post right in the middle so i content myself with just looking at the sky. it's my morning prayer and blessing. one day i tried to capture it by zooming in but a damned squirrel photobombed me. bless you for living surrounded by trees. lovely sunrise, nova. thanks for sharing
Definitely worth the run down the road! This is amazing and an instant FAV for me! Yes, extra special on black. Reminds me of a favorite quote from painter Paul Cezanne:
Long live the sun which gives us such beautiful color.
Your story gave me a wonderful mental picture of you out in PJs and camera. I too am surounded by trees and never see the sun rise or set from the house, Must make a point of just going out to get that special capture. Well done and Fav.
I'm glad you liked my sunrise as much as I did. It was truly amazing and thanks for all the encouraging words, which makes me think going out in my pjs is completely normal. Have a wonderful day! :)
