Roasting coffee

I didn’t go out today, just relaxing at home. I had to roast some coffee today. I did two different batches using green beans from Rwanda and Kenya. The roasted coffee have to rest and degas for a few days to develop a great taste. I almost never drink store bought coffee anymore since my own is so much better.
You seem to be very serious about coffee, admire your machine.

@joysabin I started this hobby by pure coincidence when I found coffee plants in Uganda. Curiosity of the process made me research more and I got this used(2014) machine very cheaply. I think I payed only 10% of the cost of a new machine. It's simple to use and give pretty good results. https://genecafeusa.com/collections/roasters/products/new-cbr-101-black-coffee-roaster-120v

I do not drink coffee, but it always smells so nice when the beans are roasted.
