New Snow by okvalle

New Snow

Today I had the day off, and this image is from my own garden.
The snow started falling unexpectedly, soft and quiet, and I decided to try capturing the snow crystals up close.

For a brief moment they rested there — perfectly shaped, delicate, almost architectural.
Each one different. Each one temporary.

By the time I went back inside, some of them had already begun to melt.
That is perhaps what makes them so fascinating — they exist fully, beautifully, and then they are gone.

A small reminder that even the most fragile things deserve to be noticed.
