This became today’s safety shot. I’m not feeling quite myself today, so I stayed at home. The photo was taken through the living room window.
I enjoy having birds around the garden, so I keep a few feeding stations outside. My wife enjoys watching them too. This year, the House Sparrow has been the most frequent visitor. Last summer, Great Tits and Blue Tits were the ones that dominated the feeders.
The image isn’t technically perfect. I used a shutter speed of 1/1000 s, which pushed the ISO higher than necessary. In hindsight, I could probably have used a slower shutter speed, as the birds tend to stay fairly still while feeding. Something to remember for next time.
