With the Buxton Field Club I visited Higher Plainsteads Farm near Glossop.
Working with Natural England under High Level Stewardship, the farm restoring traditional species rich hay meadows and as part of Peak Birds Project is creating and conserving upland bird habitat. This is ideal habitat for curlew
