Goldcrest by oldjosh

Goldcrest

I visited Melton Mowbray today; in the leaves of a small bush in the park I noticed a little bird hopping around, it flew to the ground then back to the bush before two of them flew away into the trees. They are our smallest bird and are often hard to find.
Lovely birds

@happysnaps thank you Valerie and for fav, I didn't have much time to focus on it and have had to crop the shot as it didn't stay still for long.

@susiemc Thank you and for Fav Sue. They are so small and secretive and hard to spot. I saw one briefly a few years ago in our garden in London. I also think I saw one in the trees near the river leen a couple of weeks ago
