Doomsday book - Breaston was recorded as belonging to Henry de Ferrers and being worth four shillings
Derby Canal, Navigation Inn. The canal is now closed but the tow path is still a public footpath and cycle route
The Breaston Wind Engine – built to pump water for use in a paddling stream at the Perks Recreation Ground. Built 1935 and restored 2008
St Michaels Church – Dates from the 11th century but is mostly 14th and 15th century
