Leigh, Becky and I went to the garden center today to buy some flowers for Becky's garden. While Leigh and Becky were picking out some herbs and perennials, a tractor in a nearby field caught my eye.
Well, today is my birthday and I got to thinking about tractors as I uploaded this picture. They are such faithful servants. They labor under heavy loads but they enjoy what they do and put their muscle into the job and get it done. They never worry about flash or shine, but wear mud and rust as if its high fashion. Sometimes I think we get side tracked in life when we believe that life should be pretty and easy. Real life is not the manipulated plot of a reality show, nor the timely worked out episode of a drama or sitcom. It's finding a place where you can do something good that benefits others and not minding if a little dirt gets splattered on you in the process. I guess that means I want to be a tractor when I grow up!
Well said, and so so true. We are a spoiled population, at least we act like we are sometimes, LOL. But soon the reality of life slaps us back into the real world, where the rubber meets the road, and the sweating begins.

@wdement A favorite memory for my husband and I is a tractor pull we went to many years ago. I've always appreciated them more since then. Thanks for the comment Wendy!
@lisjam1 Thanks Lisabell- I took several different shots and this was my favorite. I liked the red of the tractor against the green of the field and trees. The balance goes back to the colorwheel I think- red is opposite green so they will always make each other "pop" as they say.
