I used to love wearing perfume. Now it makes me sneeze! However the bottles still decorate my dresser making these lovely fragrances something I definitely wore, yet no longer wear.
Beautiful bottles. you know it's the same here..I'm very sensitive to fragrances..when I was in my early twenties and thirties I wore perfum all the time..
@bruni Thanks Bruni- yes, me too. In my mid-30's I ended up switching over to after bath splash. It was lighter and I don't sneeze when I put it on. @digitalrn Thanks Rick- yes they do, don't they? @twinsplusone Thank you Sharon!
@summerfield Thanks Vikki- the floral bottle is an old perfume bottle my grandmother gave me when I was a young girl. It has a glass stopper which I did not include in the shot. @sarasdadandmom I wish I hadn't grown out of them, but I just did for some reason. @adobewaters Thanks Adobe! @karenann Thanks Karenann. It seems it goes one way or another for us ladies: we either can't wear it at all, or we gob way to much on and make other people suffer! @bkbinthecity Thanks Brian! @prttblues Thanks Bev! @kimmistephens Thanks Kimmi!
This is really pretty and processed so well. Love the DOF. Perfume at times gives me a headache, but not lately, so I have worn some and it cheers me up and makes me feel good. Sorry you are not able to wear any...maybe the sneezing will go away.
great bottles and the one in the front is the perfume surface the reflection it is a lovely photo.. I love wearing perfume.. happy not to have allergies yet.. =)
Thank you all for the comments- glad to see some of you can enjoy a lovely perfume and not surprised to see so many who can't. When I could wear it, I did have expensive taste- Chanel No. 5 was my favorite! I think that is what is in the little bottle.
@geertje Thank you Geertje- the one really is vintage- my grandmother gave it to me when I was a young girl- I think she knew I loved "old things". It had perfume in it for many years, but it has since evaporated. I got the other bottle some time in the 1980's, so it's old but not an antique as the other one is. @paulineb Thank you Pauline! @cimes1 Thank you Carole! @paulavdmerwe Thank you Paula!
Thank you one and all for your nice comments! This was one of those shots that just fell into place without much fuss.
@michaelelliott Thank you Michael!! It was mid-afternoon sun- comes in thorugh the windows very nicely at that time of day and gave just the right glow to the glass bottles. Thank you so much for the fav!!
@daveanajao Thank you Dave! I always miss you too! But you are never too far from my prayers! Your new series is awesome! I'm glad to see you posting again.

@espyetta Thanks MaryBeth! I wear after bath splash instead. It's lighter and doesn't seem to bother me. Jean Nate is my favorite!
