@allie912 Thank you Allison! Yes, I was just very achy last night from the temperature change and a busy day. For some reason, it was just too uncomfortable to sit at the desk. I'm fine now! I appreciate your concern.
Is this from a swimming pool? Anyway I love the color ...aqua is my favorite color for accent (accessories.) Since I always wear black, taupes, browns, etc. I love that little pop of aqua.
@bruni Thanks Bruni! I'm glad the pictures finally sorted themselves out! Maybe they were doing some site work on 365 and it made things a little jumbled for a bit. Who knows!
@annaluceya Thanks Anna! No, this is a hard plastic product called Melamine. It was very popular here in the States during the 50's and 60's. @httpgeffed Thanks Colleen! @tklein Thanks Tina! @netkonnexion Thanks Netkonnexion! @mrssmith Thanks Carla! @karenann Thanks Karenann- no surprise, it's not a swimming pool, it's dishware! Two pieces- a small bowl and a large platter with the close up on the edge of the bowl. @kimmistephens Thanks Kimmi! @nicolecampbell Thanks Nicole! @dmariewms Thanks Marie!
This is part of a set that I bought at a yard sale last year. I was originally going to use it as a play set for my granddaughter but loved the blue and white plates and decided to keep them. The yellow and pink plates ended up finding a new home with my younger son's mother-in-law. She'd been looking for some Melamine and ta-da- I had it!
beautiful composition, very different. i like it when i have to guess then figure it out eventually. like karenann, i thought it was from the swimming pool, but the curve was too defined to be under water. clever! i like it!
@karenann Oh, don't worry. It wasn't a guessing game anyway! But just so you know I did take an aqua picture at the pool. I just didn't use it! @ulpiphotos Thank you Ulpi. I liked the lighting on this. @filsie65 Thank you Phil. It is actually a little deeper, but the light from the sliding glass door really lightened it up. I decided to keep it like that rather than bringing the color back in through an adjustment. @alia_801 Thanks Alia! @sangwann Thanks Dione! @digitalrn Thanks Rick! @smithak Thanks Smitha!
@cimes1 Thank you Carole! That gradual color was all provided by the light source. @nattybabe Thank you so much Nat! I was going for that semi-abstract minimal feel. @prttblues Thanks Bev! @melorac Thank you Carole!
Thank you all! I really appreciate the comments and feedback!
@kloud Thanks Bonnie! I hit two challenges with this one. The April A Challenge and the April Abstract. But I was actually just shooting for the first- and then realized I could add it to the second as well.
@paulavdmerwe Thank you Paula!
So glad you liked it.
