@sarasdadandmom Well you didn't (o: Beachradish had already guessed correctly and I confirmed it. I didn't make you wait like I usually do. lol too. @pandorasecho Thanks Dixie- well it's the main beam of my house, so that's what made me think of balance beam (that and the US winning gold in gymnastics last night).
my guess is high beam. it's a beam up high on the ceiling. so high beam. :-) i'm getting good at this. i have my subject, just have to photograph it and upload. will be there soon. great work, ann.
I thought Balance Beam Right Off the Bat!!! Great Job Ann!!! I was a Gymnast so i look for those kind of things!! You should have seen the balance beam i found today...i wont say much because i may have to use it tomorrow as i am driving to N.Y. again....8 Long hours by myself! So I dont know if i will have the time to take and post one or not! At least i have a backup just in case!! :) Great Start to the New Month!! Enjoying this already!
Balance beam....but I wasn't sure. I might have cheated a little. :) I have no idea how those girls do those amazing stunts on that beam. I can even walk on a flat floor! :)
@summerfield Hi-five on the high beam pun. lol thanks Vikki! @lyoungs1023 thanks Elizabeth! @ellimae Thanks Ellen- Next time you're doing the 8 hr. thing and you want a midday break, let's see if there's a point where you can stop and I can meet you! So, since you were a gymnast, maybe you can explain to Carla and I just how you manage to do those stunts on the tiny piece of wood without falling off or cracking your skull open! We think it's amazing because both of us are challenged on flat land! @mrssmith Me too Carla- I asked Ellen, she's a former gymnast. I honestly don't know how they do it. I remember the only thing I could do when we had gymnastics in high school was a simple mount and dismount. Every time I tried a spin, I fell off. @karenann thanks Karenann! You're not too late- I just said yes when someone got it right rather than making everyone wait today.
Great one for this challenge, Ann. I thought vaulted ceiling and pole vault, so I'm glad I'm not guessing first. You do such a wonderful job on these riddles !
@sfeldphotos Thanks Sam- yes it does. It sends me an email. I'm guessing that maybe you fav'd this (as I haven't checked my email yet and will be going to bed shortly), so if you did thank you very much!!
