We're heading down the home-stretch of Autumn in the Northern Hemisphere. The gourds and pumpkins are still in season, but it's only a few short weeks until winter officially begins. We had some light flurries today but the wood stove is keeping us toasty-warm while the table decorations remind us that Autumn isn't over yet.
A very nice Autumn picture. our forecast said light snow flurries over night last night and see what happend. at 4 am this morning we had no snow and when I got up at six I stepped out on the deck and started taking pictures...snow, snow, snow...by 9 am we had more than a foot of snow...I posted one in my default and 4 in my Nature at it's best album.
Great shot, Ann! I don't want winter to hit, unfortunately we have no control over what Ma Nature does. We can only hope for the best! Well done on your pic!
this reminds me of that beautiful squash soup i had at the restaurant in the island last thursday when i got stranded. must go back there. nice processing.
Thank you Lyn, Carole, Vikki, Edie and Patty! My apologies for being so behind. I had to sacrifice 365 for a while so that I could catch up with some commitments after Sandy knocked the computer out for a week! I will be catching up with all your projects now.
@digitalrn Thanks Rick- definitely breezy up here too. Winter's coming )o:
