One Window by olivetreeann

One Window

I had a delightful time meeting up with some friends at lunch today- but it's been a long day! I only made one stop for pictures on my way home and I used one of those shots for the October word of the day. Technically, although I took this shot last Sunday, I could have taken it today since I drove right past this barn on my way home. I've been meaning to stop and photograph it for a long time. I love its deep, rich red sides in contrast with the green grass surrounding it and the black trim around the windows.
i love shots like this!

Wonderful colors! Love the weed grass is growing up against the building kind gives it an abandon look and adds to the ambience. I also love the slatted door which adds a little more interest.

I missed this one. I also have a thing for some windows. This is fantastic. I love the contrasts. I think I may have mentioned earlier that I spent one whole Saturday taking pictures all around town. It's so fun.

@creativeaddict Thank you Laur! And thank you for the fav! Yes, I love taking shots of buildings, doors, etc. too. I've really had fun in joining a camera club and setting up places for us to go and shoot. The most popular so far was one where we walked about town and took photos of the people and the architecture.
@cindyloo Thank you Cindy and thank you so much for the fav! It's a great barn for red!
