It was cloudy all day and rained on and off for the better part of the morning and early afternoon. We've needed the rain, so I didn't mind it too much. I was also cleaning for my friend, so I didn't miss the sun. After her chores were done, I did the food shopping. When I came out of the store I noticed the sun had finally broken through the clouds and it was casting a gloriously golden light on the trees. I just hoped I'd get to a spot where I could take a shot before the evening took over. Thankfully I did! What a beautiful October sunset today!
