What I do when I wake up at 2 AM and can't sleep. I'm just glad none of the neighbors were out and about to see me with my tripod and camera taking shots of the moon in my winter coat, pajamas and hubby's boots!
Fav! Wow! This is fabulous!! I cannot imagine me getting up at 2AM struggling with photo equipment, etc. in freezing weather..... so I admire you tremendously, and the results certainly compensated for all you went through.
LOL I was going to do the same thing but at minus 30 C I decided to pour a cup of tea instead. It was a beautiful moon though and you have captured it perfectly here.
That would be something I would be prepared to pay for - especially if I had my own camera at hand. You must have a lot of guts to do that. But in the end it was quite worth it - the shot is superb and the detail also. At 2.00am the only thing I can do is dream about the moon.
A fellow pj photo taker. I do that all the time and get teased by my friends. I new we had a lot in common. Great results. (The plow man came when I was in bed with my flannel pj on so I got up put my boots and coat on. Went out to move the car.)

@radiogirl Thank you Kathy and thank you so much for the fav! When I first started here on 365 I'd see moon shots and wish I could take one. I was finally able to upgrade my point and shoot last year and now I can say at least one dream has come true!
