Vintage Snow by olivetreeann

Vintage Snow

The phojo is flat-lining! I'm tired of white. I tired of brown. I'm tired of gray! Actually, I'm just plain tired!! It was vintage day for the 365 Toy Group today and I was planning to do something fun in conjunction with that but I just couldn't get into digging out more vintage things to photograph. So, you get a snow-covered milk can processed to the hilt instead.
Cool

Your tired phojo has led to some amazing processing. (I'm sure it will return as it seems to happen to all of us from time to time!)

But what cool processing! Great result :)

I can relate to how you are feeling, I am tired too. You still managed a great shot though and processing.

It has been sunny all week here but now that we're going to Gozo for the weekend - and looking forward to it - the weather has turned nasty. That's luck. Well done on this shot.

this is a great capture. Hope the weather changes for the better.

Did you do this because you want snow to be a thing of your past? LOL! Great editing!

@cashew Thanks Kathy! I bought this one at a yard sale. I'm pretty sure there's some floating around for sale by you. Check out antique stores and flea markets- if you're in to that and REALLY want one.
@quietpurplehaze Thanks Hazel! Very true. I've been here before, and it probably won't be the last time, but everybody goes through it.
@alia_801 Thanks Alia!
@nicolecampbell Thank you Nicole!
@sangwann Thanks Dione! I think some people call that "Murphy's Law" - if something can go wrong, it probably will. You're battling the weather version - if you plan to go away for the week end it's bound to rain!

Thank you all for the encouragement and support! As I was looking at my commentary I realized it gives the impression that I manipulated the photo to look this way, but in reality it was an effect applied from my photo processor. The computer did all the work, and I just said, "That's good, let's save it". One thing I've learned about these "phases" is to keep shooting through them. Eventually your spark reignites and you're back on track.
