Mourning Dove Watercolor by olivetreeann

Mourning Dove Watercolor

The day started out rainy and wet and I wasn't really feeling all that great. But by late afternoon the sun had come out and I seemed to feel better. I took a quick shot of this Mourning Dove trying to blend in with her surroundings but it wasn't as sharp as I wanted it to be. Processing to the rescue!!

I'm off to bed early and quite excited as tomorrow I will be assisting at a photography class for kids with cancer. I won't be able to show my in-class experience but I will be able to take pictures of the building where our classes will be. So I'll be back tomorrow. Now off to bed for me!
cool and artistic processing

Nice processing. I have some mourning dove photos from today but they all look too dull. Might be fun to play with processing.

Totally fun processing!

Fun processing indeed. The blue square behind his head was a bit distracting for me, makes him look like he has a blue hat on or something. I absolutely love the funky textures and shapes that came with your processing, though!

@creativeaddict Thank you Laur! My- it's really all in the application. I did nothing fancy here!
April 20th, 2015
But, u tweaked it just right. I know how that is, cuz I do that all the time with reg pics and people think so great cuz of apps used. It still takes some artistry. May I ask apps used?

April 20th, 2015
@creativeaddict It was an effect in my Smart Photo Editor called Watercolor something or other. There are so many of them I lose track of the names!
