Snowblown Orange by olivetreeann

Snowblown Orange

Our neighbor with his snow blower provided me with a really nice pop of orange for my rainbow challenge shot.

I used to live where we got feet of snow but now we live where there isn't any. I miss it

ha ha you have snow blowers and we have leaf blowers. I think yours would be heaps more fun

By the looks of this one I think I am glad we did not have the same shot today! However, having said that, it would be nice to have had a little snow this winter. Terrific orange picture

Great processing, the orange really stands out. But the snow looks deep. So glad it has gone here and spring has arrived

Many thanks all! Yes, it was quite a storm- falling for over 18 hours and dropping 2 feet of the white fluffy stuff in our backyard. Some folks a bit north of us got even more! We stayed toasty warm thanks to our trusty woodstove- whose lovely glow almost became the orange picture yesterday until I caught Charlie with his snow blower. We've had flurries today but they didn't amount to anything. All in all if you didn't have to go anywhere yesterday it was a beautiful storm- but if you had to leave home...

@cruiser We use leaf blowers in the fall!

This was an awesome convenience for your day of orange. I like those leaves too! Nicely shot!

Great winter shot. Love that pop of red.

@cjphoto Thanks Chris! It was one of those shots that just presented itself.

@radiogirl Thanks Kathy! The storm's over now- but we just took it easy yesterday. Wisdom (i. e. age!) has taught us that some things are just not worth rushing out for in the middle of a storm.

@daisymiller Thank you Daisy!

Is that orange so that he'd be easy to dig out if he gets buried in that snow! Neat shot for your orange.

@milaniet Thank you Milanie! Well, we certainly have no problem spotting him!
